The dual theme for Milagrosa comes from a Cuban folklore, a miraculous birth of a woman buried underground (elaborated in song "Forever In Bone" and in the album artwork) and the teachings of compassion over violence. A transitional release for Totimoshi, Milagrosa's songs are expansive and multidimensional, heavy and dynamic and are more melodic, thoughtful and driving than anything they've ever written.
